Homeowners Meetings

Annual Meeting – The annual meeting of association members is an important event in the life of the association and it’s required by the governing documents for a reason.  The association’s annual meeting is held every year, the second week of April.  Until 1999, the meetings were staged at the North Central Police Station on McCallum at Hillcrest, but the site wasn’t very appropriate or appealing, and residents weren’t fond of meeting at a police station.  So for the last nine years, the meeting was upgraded and held in the comfortable surroundings of either Gleneagles County Club or nearby restaurants where guests are served complimentary refreshments and hors d’oeuvres.

The annual meeting is an opportunity for residents to voice opinions, ask questions and learn about the association’s ongoing activities.  At the meetings, homeowners approve the terms of several directors, review the year’s budget vs. actual expenditures and approve the upcoming year’s budget.  At most annual meetings, the Dallas District 12 Council Member is a guest and speaks about issues in the District and the city.

Board Meetings – The Prestonwood West board of directors meet bi-monthly to review ongoing issues and to discuss matters pertinent to the neighborhood.  The meetings, held at the Renner-Frankford Library, are open to any resident who wishes to attend and makes prior arrangement with any board member.
