E-Mail Alert System
The e-mail
alert system in Prestonwood West is an
association-wide communication system to help make the neighborhood safer and to
keep residents well informed on matters, which may affect everyone’s comfort and
well being on a timely basis. Block captains, who gather information for the PW Neighborhood Directory
urge residents to furnish one e-mail address for
their homes. Using residents’ e-mail addresses, the association’s e-mail alert
team can send messages about crime, missing children, thefts, auto accidents,
lost and found items, missing pets, voting matters, meeting notices, zoning
issues and other important issues. The E-mail Alert System includes
these features:
Amber Alert – is done in association with local police and the Nationwide Amber Alert System.
Crime Alert – is done in association with Prestonwood West’s crime alert program (Hotline) and the local police.
Lost & Found Alert – is a service to all PW residents, especially pet owners.
Information Alert – is another information service in addition to the Westwords newsletter, but it can deliver time sensitive information immediately.
Have you changed your e-mail address lately? PW residents have said they’d like to get neighborhood news and special alerts by e-mail. Yet some people change e-mail addresses more often than they change their minds. Please tell us when you change your e-mail address. Send the administrator ( admin@prestonwoodwesthoa.org ) your new address. The e-mail alert system is also geared to each of the six separate sub-associations providing each group furnishes e-mail addresses of their residents.
